Privacy Policy
How we handle personal information submitted through this website.
Last updated:
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Xono Civil Enterprises cc (Company Registration No. 2005/086077/23), 62 Taaifontein St, Montana, Pretoria, 0159, South Africa ("Xono Civil Enterprises", "we", "us"). We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.
2. Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, company or organisation name, the type of enquiry and your message.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) in server logs for security and maintenance. This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the Contact page includes an embedded Google Map; these third-party services may receive your IP address, and Google Maps may set its own cookies in line with Google's privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, to prepare quotations or proposals you have requested, and to communicate with you about it. We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
4. How your enquiry is processed
Enquiries submitted through this website are sent by email to info@xonocivils.co.za. The website itself does not store your enquiry in a database. Emails are handled using our email service provider. Limited, anonymised technical records may be kept temporarily to protect the form from spam and abuse.
5. Sharing your information
We only share your information with service providers who help us operate our website and email (for example, our hosting and email providers), or where we are required to by law.
6. Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for any related business, legal or record-keeping purposes.
8. Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. To make a request, email info@xonocivils.co.za or call 012 001 6377. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
